Te Ora Puāwai is seeking a Primary Care Nurse and Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated Waiora Wellness Centre Clinical team in Mangere, Auckland.
We are an out-of-the-box-thinking, community-focused practice, dedicated to delivering high-quality, accessible care. These roles will involve providing high-quality primary healthcare services within our community-focused clinic, helping patients proactively manage their health. Requirements
A confident and compassionate clinician who values holistic, culturally safe, family-led care and enjoys working autonomously within primary health care.
Must hold current registration as a Registered Nurse or NUrse Practitioner with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
A current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
Primary Care Nurse Prescriber or Nurse Practitioner qualification and nursing council authorisation would be an advantage
Previous experience in general practice or primary healthcare would be an advantage
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse patients
The ability to speak Cook Islands Maori fluently would be an advantage
Proficient in health assessment, treatment planning, and patient education
Excellent organisational and time management skills
A commitment to equity, quality improvement, and professional development
Requirements
You must have the legal right to work in New Zealand
This role requires a police safety check
