Te Ora Puāwai is seeking a Primary Care Nurse and Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated Waiora Wellness Centre Clinical team in Mangere, Auckland.

We are an out-of-the-box-thinking, community-focused practice, dedicated to delivering high-quality, accessible care. These roles will involve providing high-quality primary healthcare services within our community-focused clinic, helping patients proactively manage their health. Requirements

A confident and compassionate clinician who values holistic, culturally safe, family-led care and enjoys working autonomously within primary health care.

  • Must hold current registration as a Registered Nurse or NUrse Practitioner with the Nursing Council of New Zealand

  • A current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)

  • Primary Care Nurse Prescriber or Nurse Practitioner qualification and nursing council authorisation would be an advantage

  • Previous experience in general practice or primary healthcare would be an advantage

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse patients

  • The ability to speak Cook Islands Maori fluently would be an advantage

  • Proficient in health assessment, treatment planning, and patient education

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • A commitment to equity, quality improvement, and professional development

  • Requirements

    • You must have the legal right to work in New Zealand

    • This role requires a police safety check
